Kashmir University: Winter Break Announced, Check Details

In a recent development, the University of Kashmir has officially declared winter vacations for its main campus and satellite campuses. The vacation period is set to commence from January 1, 2024, and will extend until February 25, 2024.

A notification released by the university stated, “It is for the information of all concerned that the Teaching Departments of the University and its Satellite Campuses shall observe winter vacations from 1st January, 2024 to 25th February, 2024.”

The announcement also emphasized that Departmental Offices will continue to function normally during this period.

While the regular operations of departmental offices will be maintained, the Heads/Directors of the Departments/Campuses have been instructed to ensure that any scheduled examinations or other activities proceed as planned.

To address any potential gaps in the syllabus, the notification highlights, “The remedial classes (offline or online mode) shall be conducted by the Departments to complete the remaining syllabus, if any, during the period of winter break.”

Furthermore, there is a clear directive for a swift resumption of classwork and other academic activities immediately after the conclusion of the winter vacations.

This move aims to maintain the academic momentum and ensure a seamless transition back to regular coursework.
